As the regular season comes to an end, there are still some important dates to look out for.
Our cheer teams will be performing at a number of events, including the Annual BHS Cheer Showcase on November 15 at 6:30pm. Be sure to come out and show your support!
Also, the NJAYF All-Star games, being played on Sunday, November 25, will feature two of our 10U players, as well as a few of our D12 cheerleaders. The game will be played as North vs. South, at the Brick Dragons Complex at 10:30am.
Equipment/uniform return will be sent out to everyone once date/times are confirmed. Remember, all items (with the exception of the personalized jerseys) must be returned in order to receive your equipment bond check.
The Awards Banquet is in the planning stages and invites will be sent out to all families once confirmed. We understand that everyone is starting up with Winter sports and will do our best to schedule around any known issues.
For those who did not attend our last board meeting, we will be accepting nominations for open and vacated board positions at the November General Membership meeting. Those positions include:
– President (Vacated)
– Vice President
– Football Coordinator
– Cheer Coordinator (Vacated)
– Field Coordinator (Vacated)
We have a lot of experienced board members who will be departing this year and its important that we get devoted individuals to volunteer their time in order to keep this program successful and growing. If anyone has any questions as to specific responsibilities or expectations, please reach out to our President, Jim Armstrong. Voting will take place at our December meeting.
Registration for the 2019 Tackle Season will begin in the early Spring. Additionally, we are looking at starting a Spring Flag Football league, under the AYF umbrella, where we will compete against other AYF teams. Information for this will be disseminated as soon as we have it.
We hope that this season was as enjoyable for you as it was for us. We appreciate everyone’s time and devotion, and your trust in allowing us to provide your children with a positive, youth sports experience. Go Bengals!
